Village Of West Clay
The Village of West Clay is the largest neighborhood in Carmel, located on the west side. The neighborhood developed by Brenwick attracted many to the family friendly neighborhood filled with old style cottage houses with a contemporary and traditional interior style. The houses are narrow with many having front porches and garages in the back. The neighborhood has many sections such has the area with village style homes as described above. Another area is the higher price range area with larger homes that still stay true to the feel of the neighborhood but are much larger and have larger lots.

Along with the Village style, and higher price range houses there are also many Pulte homes that have been built, which are track homes. This all happened when Brenwick went under and other builders came in. While Pulte isn't staying completely true to the original idea of the neighborhood, other builders such as McKenzie are helping build more village style houses on their lots. The village also has its own apartment complex, restaurants, and town hall.

The Village of West Clay is a neighborhood that feels like its own little town. It's a new type of suburban neighborhood that has inspired another neighborhood in nearby Westfield called Harmony being built by Estridge Homes. There are still many lots open for village style homes, Pulte homes, and higher price range homes. The neighborhood has also been opening restaurants within the village such as Greek's Pizza and Pizzology. Other companies have opened up here such as Indy Dental Group and Tank 13, a bar.
